Single "A 3"

Second single about the motorway (A 3) that never was...
Althoug it was scheduled in the Dutch plans of motorways, back in 1932, it was never built.
The highway was ment to connect Amsterdam to Rotterdam in a straight line, right through the "green heart" (Het groene hart), a large area in the middle between Amsterdam, Utrecht, Rotterdam and "The Haque" (Den Haag or 's-Gravenhage). A lobby of environmental activists had to protect this nature reserve against the brutal development of highways and traffic pollution.
